Kind of odd. Smith's shows usually sell out here. They had Jay and Silent Bob at Grey Eagle and during comicon and both had huge crowds.

HBO, which IMO is the best live Kevin Smith option (Q&A, Jay and Silent Bob, Smodcast), and they've only sold a couple hundred seats. The Bella only holds about 500 and it isn't close to being a sell out.

The prices are ridiculous. $75 and up for a podcast taping?

I got bored of the podcast along time ago. Are they still doing the same David Bowie and creepy clown bits?

I briefly met Kevin Smith with a friend at the Vancouver airport years ago. Like very briefly because he brushed us off, BUT he was very polite about it. We saw him and said hey, we are big fans and he said thanks and apologized because he was in a big hurry and couldn't talk, but thanked up and apologized again... lol. We totally understood and he seemed sincerely sorry and rushed.

I was looking at going but have no desire to pay that amount for a HBO show. I would have taken my wife if the two of us could go for the price of one ticket. It would have been fund to see if I could be one of the people that gets Sexy Kevin to talk my wife into taking the meat train up the Hersey highway.

My favorite Podcast he does is Fatman Beyond (formerly Fatman on Batman). I find it super interesting.
