It's not about the record. Ppenty of teams get off to hot starts. And I'm sure we'll have some cold stretches.
But.
It's about all the little things he's completely flipped around from the ward era. Puck possession. Dube at center. Kylington in the top 4.
All this was absent under Ward and people wanted to blow up this core.

Agree too soon but 13 out of 16 points to start the season is amazing and now it has to factor into whether you make a big trade.

13 2-2-2 in 01-02 and then they gave Turek his extension and they turned that start into a sub 500 record and out of the playoffs….AGAIN.
Thats the last really good start that comes to mind.
