You still don't understand what words and their usage in various contexts mean.
Recommend = Providing positive guidance to do something
eg: I recommend that ikaris take remedial English. Please.
Authorize = Allowing something to be done, but not providing guidance in either direction.
eg: NACI has authorized the use of COVID-19 vaccines and boosters.
No recommendation = Not providing guidance in either direction, neutral position
eg: No recommendations for booster doses for the general adolescent population 12 to 17 years of age are being made at this time. (This means you can go get one if you want, or you don't have to; no recommendation is being made.)
Not recommended = Providing guidance against doing something
eg: It is not recommended to take ikaris' COVID-19 posts at face value because based on everything he's posted, he's either being dishonest or unknowingly ignorance on the subject.

So when someone asks if it is a good idea to boost a child the answer is no. If someone asks if it’s a bad idea to boost a child the answer is no. It is just an idea.
No recommendation also means if you state I follow Naci’s recommendations when deciding on when to boost and vaccinate means you do not boost your children.

The reality is that if you’re a healthy person the risk factor is different when considering what Omicron are to healthy people. There is a reason why only half of Canadians are “boosted” and the needle isn’t moving on 5-11 vaccinations.

What happens if a Canadian traveler rapid tests positive just before boarding a flight home all within Canada? It’s not me. If she does a PCR test and it’s positive is she prohibited from flying?

You don't test for domestic flights within Canada, only if it's international

I’m aware testing isn’t required but I’m wondering if she tests voluntarily and tests positive.

You wouldn’t be able to fly regardless of test type because you couldn’t answer the pre-flight questionnaire whether you or a close contact has had Covid or Covid symptoms.

Does anyone know if the second booster is going to be given out to the general population? I'm really eager to get it to boost my protection, but looked and so far it sounds like it's only for 70 years and older and the immuno-compromised.

I've been wondering the same thing. I'll be at 5 months since shot #3 before the end of the month.

This is correct but I believe the ages are different for indigenous. We’ll likely be in the next group approved for another shot which will time well for some upcoming travel.

It’s so frustrating they are still limiting vaccine access. At this point everyone who’s going to get vaccinated is done. Let us get the next boosters.

I had my most recent dose back in September (3rd overall, 2nd mRNA) and am told "just to wait" to about a booster. In general, I don't really care, but I am travelling in July and don't want to run into any issues that my last vaccination was too long ago.

Can you just do a walk in for your first booster?
I only have 2 shots, and I keep getting covid so I've put off getting my 3rd shot.
It would be great if I could just walk into shoppers and get it done before I catch it again.

I've had 3 shots (and covid). The third one was back in September though, when they were offering second mRNA shots to people who got AZ first.
I've thought about going to one of the clinics where you don't need a health number (if they still even have those) but it's the record of the shot I want more than the shot itself.

I would think you can do a walk in for the 3rd dose in most busy pharmacies. I know several people who don't qualify but have gotten 4th doses by talking to the pharmacist. If it's been a long time, you can probably find one to do it.
