And just like that the Olympics are over. It was especially quick for me because I missed most of the first week while on vacation.

Does Norway still have a chance to tie/beat 14 golds?

They have 13 and contenders in cross country so yeah. Germany also has 13 and is leading in bobsleigh. Germany could hit 15 by winning both, but I don't think it's likely that they'd get cross country.

If the bib numbers are any indication for the Women's Cross Country, Norway is the favourite to win it. They have four women in the race, bibs 1, 2, 6, and 8. In the same race, the Germans have bibs 15, 18, and 28.

Norway has already won 6 medals in 5 events in Women's Cross Country, 2 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze.

The Cross Country is the only remaining event in which Norway is able to win any more medals.

Germany could win medals in three of the final 4 events (guaranteed at least a silver in hockey).

After 2 of 4 runs in the 4-man bobsled, Germany has 3 of the top 5 sleds. It's very likely they get another gold there.

It's highly unlikely that the Germans can defeat the Russian in hockey, but it was also unlikely that they could defeat Sweden and Canada, so who knows?

Not a competition event, but the Figure Skating Gala will also go tonight, starting at 5:30pm MT. All the Canadians who won the non-team medals will be performing.

Kaetlyn Osmond will skate 11th to Hallelujah by Tori Kelly. Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford will skate 18th to Piano Man by Billy Joel.

Scott and Tessa will skate 24th, in a tribute to Gord Downie, skating to Long Time Running. Get your hankies ready, Canada.

Here's the full schedule: https://www.olympic.org/pyeongchang-...----------.pdf

I'm not sure where it will be broadcast. It's at the same time as the curling final and the bobsleigh runs, but I'm sure CBC will make sure the Canadians are shown at least. NBC will probably show most of it too.

The Gala will be on TV too after the closing ceremony. Tentatively at 11am.

Do they always do this in bobsleigh?
Third run first to last, last run last to first?

For those wanting to join the livestream of the skating gala, just one more performance before Virtue and Moir.

The fact that they didn't air the Virtue and Moir program anywhere on TV is an enormous failure.

Slow bobsleigh again, he dropped into the red before the mistake at corner 13.

Great start in 4th run for 4man but slowed as the race went on for some reason and likely to be 6th.
So outside of a miracle in women’s CC race, or a post Olympics doping violation, Canada will finish at 29 medals.

Pretty cool that South Korea got a silver in four-man. I had no idea they were strong in the sport, to be honest.

They spared no expense on training and equipment, brought in Pierre Lueders to coach the last few years, and didn’t race in World Cup to practice more on home course the last couple years and I think only had one team to focus on.
