The disallowed goal was not a foul, nor offside. Baffling

TFC was out of control all game, Altidore’s sending off is inexcusable, but that ref was a disgrace. He let things escalate so much and get to that point

Pretty frustrating game to watch.

Hopefully the loss of Giovinco and Altidore for the first game of the East Finals on the road won't be devastating.

Man the ref let that get out of control. I think Jesse Marsch should be fined or suspended his whole mo was to stir things up knowing his team couldn't win... Rbs were chippy and cheap the whole game. Will be tough for tfc away to columbus without giovinco and altidore. Hope they can keep it close enough the make the home leg interesting.

Apparently TFC is trying to appeal Altidore's second yellow from the tunnel incident. One version of events is that he was "ambushed" by multiple RB players and staff outside the TFC dressing room. At a certain point the tunnel splits into a 'Y', so the RB players had no justification being anywhere near where the incident occurred.

TFC's record against Columbus this year:

April 15 @ Columbus - L 2-1 (during Seba's slow start)
May 10 @ Columbus - W 2-1 (Ricketts came off the bench to score 2 in last 10 mins)
May 26 vs Columbus - W 5-0 (scored 5 at home without Seba or Jozy playing)

East Final goes:

Nov 21 @ Columbus
Nov 29 @ Toronto

Columbus has really put it together since they last saw TFC but wow did they look weak at the back in both legs against NYCFC. I can't believe how bad TFC shot themselves in the foot. Lets hope Ricketts can pot one.

I think TFC will win if they can keep it within a goal in Columbus once they come home with all their firepower back. They had a pretty negative mentality yesterday but everyone has seen what they can do when they open up the throttle and I don't even think Columbus are close to being the toughest team they could have faced.

As bad as NYRB's tactics were Altidore and Giovinco should have known better, and that dive by Altidore was shameful.

It comes down to the referee's misconduct reports on the incident. I think we may see RB being fined but Altidore's red card will remain.

So TFC vs Columbus Crew means one thing:

TFC back to back with Flames vs Jackets.

Flights booked

What's with the huge amount of days in between games?

Two weeks between the next series. Crazy. Is this normal in football?

Surprised no one is talking about the draw yesterday in the TFC match. Have to think with the tie last night this is right into TFC's wheelhouse now.

Yeah, getting out of Columbus 0-0 missing your top two scorers is a big deal for TFC. That crowd is going to be rocking in Toronto for the second leg, wish I could be there

It was getting better at the end of the first half, but both teams are pretty tentative again.
