LF Mechanical Engineer, MET
We are looking to hire a mechanical engineer. Basic duties:
Building a bill of materials list used to quote various projects
• Obtaining required BOM on won quotes, adding it to production cue
• Working with production personnel on production scheduling
• Relaying production schedules to stakeholders
• Preparing mechanical drawings in Solidworks format, including assemblies
• Overseeing QC checks on existing, as well as future products either manufactured or outsourced
• Remedying QC deficiencies
• Managing and distributing design documentation and specifications
Basically need to be proficient in Solidworks, and be able to read paper drawings to do QC checks. Also help with our quote process by building a raw material list. No experience necessary (we can hire a new graduate)
We do a lot of work in China, so being able to speak Mandarin is an asset.
