If Gillies was any good he would have recorded two shutouts tonight.

And Gaudreau... This team is in huge trouble if they score 6 points and Johnny wasn't in on 5 if them!

Solid W, very impressed with Gillies, won them the game with his first period.

The team really needed Backlund and Frolik to break their droughts, been waiting for that. More Gaudreau points would've been great, but the 2nd line getting hot will be better for the Flames in this stretch run. Brouwer being productive also helps us.

Between Rittich, Gillies, and Parsons we look to have a very solid future in net.

Might be the most complete game the flames have played this season.

The power play looks so much better with the addition of Hamilton and Tkachuk. Versteeg’s return will help even more. Could wind up saving the season.

Loved Gilies game and his interview. No cliche machine that kid.

3m line was oustanding. Completely neutered the Aves top line.

The posters that wrote off the season beyond a doubt after the Vegas game should be put up on a wall of shame.

There are plenty of ebbs and flows in a 20 games segment.

Interesting that Frolik’s game got a huge shot in the arm once he got rid of the face shield. I’m a firm believer that that stuff makes a difference. Ya gotta feel comfortable to feel confident.
