Beyond the goofy goal in the first, Gillies played decent. Miss Smith's rebound control, but boy did Gillies track the puck well if it got loose on him.
Good progression for the team after a choppy first period - settled it down and continued to improve their play throughout the game.
Didn't leave much opening for the Avs to push back.

Good win!
Rare to get 5 goals and with no points for Johnny.
Tkachuk remains red hot!

Huge game for Gillies, letting in the fluke shot, then shutting things down.

Gillies looked really good, hope to see him get the next few starts if Smith is still out.

As 60 minute of a game as you could have. Only one goofy a goal was a blemish.

Gillies gives a great interview. Even Millions can’t mess him up.

5 goals for and Gaudreau gets 0 points. That’s the kind of game the team needs, win a no doubter without requiring an outstanding performance from your superstar. not that he was bad or anything, just wasn’t required to be amazing to win

Huge 2 points, and a solid game from pretty much everybody.
Hopefully they can keep rolling and go on a nice long streak here to get themselves comfortably in a playoff spot.

Great win today. Stayed out of GT after last game's outcome so I did my part!

Don't know who the Flamss are, but the Flames were pretty damn good today.

No running around, no holding them off or weathering a storm. Just a nice relaxing Saturday game for fans.
