Apparently Groshans has been shut down for the season. Damn that sucks. Was off to a great start in low A

Could have been worse for Gurriel Jr. A grade 1 sprain is not as serious as the other types. It definitely didn't look good when it happened.

Definitely ####ty news about Groshans. I love following these prospects through the various levels of rookie and A ball and was very excited about Groshans. Hopefully this doesn't stunt his development.

I actually enjoy Buck as the colour guy. Granted he is definitely an old school "ribby" guy, I find Buck has some decent insight into the game.

Although it might be because I am used to the mindless drivel that comes out of Pat Tabler's mouth, for instance when he was wondering out loud the other day why historically bad Chris Davis wasn't hitting higher in the Orioles line up, just insane stuff.

Yeah, it's a huge disappointment and the development is the big worry.

As a 19 year old in Low A he was looking like a total stud who might fly through the levels and arrive in 2-3 years much like Bo Bichette did.

Teo goes boom.

Speed, power, arm...passable defense, boy I hope he can learn plate discipline. He'll be a weapon.

LOL

Vlad hits a line drive off the wall with a 118.7 mph exit velocity.

Could only manage a single because of it.

4th hardest hit ball in the majors this season.

Schulman just said that Vlad has 8 of the 51 hardest hit balls this season.

No one else has more than 4.

Yeah, absolute laser. Tiny bit more launch angle and it's a homer. Ball really does sound different when he hits it.

The thud that thing made hitting the padded wall was crazy. What a rocket.

Bo walks.
Biggio singles.
Vlad hits a 2 run triple to take the lead back.

The future ladies and gentlemen.
