lol no of course not. If it was an easy fix it would've been done already. What he can do, though, is come up with some sort of mechanism to reduce double faults by getting a second serve in consistently, even if it means taking some of the heat off. Losing a second serve point is far less of a gut punch than a poorly timed double fault.

Shapo is seeded second in the ATP 250 event in Winston-Salem this week and will play the winner of Tennys Sandgren vs. Andy Murray. Looks like they are having weather issues today however and matches are currently suspended.
Edit: Shapo might be bringing Mikhail Youzhny on board...
I'd even say take heat off the 1st serve to get that percentage up. he's strong enough at the baseline that not racking up aces shouldn't be a huge disadvantage. once he starts feeling good around the 70% first in range, then add a couple MPH back as long as the feel is still there.
I remember even Pistol Pete would back off a bit if he wasn't liking his %, so I don't get why these kids keep trying to blast the ball the exact same way and expect things to fix themselves.
Steven Diez is into the final round of US Open qualifying following a 6-2 5-7 6-0 win over Yosuke Watanuki this morning.
Fantastic.
Making the main draw would be a massive achievement for a guy who has been slugging it out at futures events for a number of years. He's going to have his work cut out for him in the final round of qualifying against the 90th ranked Kwon.
I believe the final round is also a best of 5 which will be extremely grueling and something he's likely not experienced before.

Denis takes the opening set 6-2 over Kecmanovic - Not often that Denis is the old guy in a match, but he is indeed a few months older than his Serbian opponent.
Shapo moves into the quarter-finals taking set 2 6-3. Weird set as he got out to a 3-zip lead and appeared to be cruising, then his mind wandered for about 15 minutes and the set was tied 3-3. A lucky net cord gave Denis a must needed service hold to go up 4-3 followed by a break and a hold at love.
Denis will face the winner of Sam Querrey and Andrey Rublev in his quarter-final match.
