I tend to think that Morrison's style will blend in better with NXT then with the main roster.
I'm glad to see Ciampa getting closer, his injury left a huge hole in terms of pure heel in NXT.

Yup, Vince isn't dumb. Punk back in the fold would be a huge boost to both WWE and FOX.

JR Foley in his younger days was one of the better European wrestlers/shooters.
The mohawked gentlemen coming off the top was Athol Foley, his fake nephew, played by Bernie Wright who was a catch wrestler from the UK and the uncle of Aalex Wright of WCW fame.

Rick Bognar passed away at 49
He was best remembered as Fake Razor Ramon a ill fated angle during the Monday Night Wars
He had a strong Stampede connection as he was trained by Mr Hito in Calgary and had a pretty extensive career in Japan,

Oh man that's ####ty. I met him at his last place of employment. Seemed like a nice guy from the little I knew of him.

I remember him showing up at the new Stampede Wrestling shows, and there was another Western Canadian Wrestling company at the time.
He wasn't good or smooth then, but he was still young. Suppossedly he was pretty good, good enough to get multiple runs in Japan.
The WWE run for him was weak, the biggest thing that stood out was that he was teamed with the future Kane.
BTW there's an amazing documentary on the Network called Its gotta be Kane. It talks about the first hell in a cell match which featured Michaels and the Undertaker and the debut of Kane which I remember as being a amazing moment.
I would think that Glenn is a shoe in for the hall of fame at some point. While I always said that taking away his mask was a mistake. He did some amazing work, was a really good worker and we learned later on that he was a pretty funny guy (even though he and Bryan were supremely pissed that the WWE universe voted for the name Team Hell No. they had already come up with T-Shirts for Team Friendship)

Some thoughts.
Lawler is terrible.
Lashley has less charisma then Bouwmeester

I would actually pay to watch a 3 hour PPV of Rey and his kid being destroyed. Mainly because Rey should have retired a while ago instead of dragging out the same old waltz that he calls a match. In fact, I'd pay to have Nash come out after the Beast was done with Rey and have him lawn dart Rey into the side of a truck.
The Lana making out with Lashley was an attempt to give Lashly some charisma.
They need to start mixing things up with the Fiend, this is the third week in a row of the rinse and repeat booking.

AEW signed a deal with TSN. Not sure if it takes effect this week as I didn't see anything on the schedule, but at least I won't have to torrent the show every week.

That's huge. Wednesday nights are going to be the prime wrestling shows, as RAW and Smackdown have an established product, but competition between NXT and AEW is going to be crazy, and hopefully cutting-edge as the premier brands.
On that note, NXT Canada is being considered and possibly having a Friday evening TV slot. That would also be reasons to watch, but more likely a PVR situation (Friday's are for going out haha)

Tons of wrestling all of a sudden
Raw (3 hours) Smackdown (2 hours) NXT (Sportsnet) (2 hours) AEW (TSN 2 hours I think). If anyone watches Impact anymore (This flood of wrestling might kill it)

Think Dave Meltzer has tweeted it will be airing the show this week but haven't seen anything from TSN to confirm

The current schedule doesn't show anything on any channel, but I'm guessing since it was last minute, they have to shuffle some things around for it

So, I though the first hour was a little choppy but the second hour kicked ass. Really enjoyed the presentation and thought the commentary was light years ahead of WWE's attempts to shoehorn catchphrases in at every possible opportunity. Solid B+ for me.
