Still seemed like they gave them another 2-3. DD was going nuts

Bombers win next week, if they don't ban until the end of the season. If they win your custom user title will be how about them bombers till the end of the season. How's that sound

Simple. Its $200+ for a family of four to sit in the upper corners at face value. Just too expensive for the event.

Generous people. They were kind enough to give the worst team in league their first win of the season

Spoiler!

Wait, they were trying?

Maybe it's cuz it's Edmonton but I just looked at tickets for the bombers game in October and 4 tickets in section b all are 160. Seems like a decent price to me?

Other than the bit of rain in the 1st quarter that was great football weather for August, less Eskies fans that I expected but I suppose committing two long weekends in a row to travelling for football is a tough ask.

Every CFL game this week was pretty entertaining

Frankly it doesn’t matter; if Calgary is close to the top of the west and start getting healthy around Labour Day, look out.

Stadium filled up in the second half. Might have got to 30 000.

Yeah I don't have as much confidence to predict where Calgary will finish anymore. They're steady and winning games in different ways

Holy ****, just looked up todays attendance - 20000 and change. It's been going down but that is abysmal. (unless incorrect by the Score app. (very few sources actually publish CFL attendance anymore)

Last home game was 23500 against Toronto. I know I've been bracing for a slight decline each season and it seems to go at a standard pace (lose about 1000 avg per year) but this may be a monumental loss in attendance this season.

If you’re spending $200+ you’re doing it wrong (or at least paying more than you need to). You can get tickets in the Sobey’s (Safeway) section for $22 plus tax. They also advertise tickets in the family section (one child/youth, one adult) for under $40 for the pair. Parking/LRT is $10-$15 plus a short walk (or free if you’re a cheap@$$ like me) and the Stamps let you bring your own snacks to the game.

Sure, if you want a 55 yard line seat, a couple of beers each, and food for all the kiddos, it’s going to add up quickly. But they offer lower priced options as well that let you catch a game without breaking the bank.

Heck, I bought two season tickets in the family zone for something like $260 for the pair.

EDIT: In the ticket exchange there was someone selling four tickets for $100, with $30 in food vouchers included. Hard to beat that...

I actually thought the stadium seemed relatively full. Lots of people away for the long weekend I’m sure.

This photo was taken around midway through the third quarter:

Sure you can get deals and Safeway seats. But the fact of the matter is if you just go to the stamps ticket office and get your seats- like many casual or first time attendees would do - you will pay $200 for tickets and maybe 4 waters.

Frankly aside from maybe the middle few sections on each side all seats in the upper rows should be like 20 dollars each

I keep hearing fans of other teams saying “well Calgary is a different team this year”. I would have agreed before the season started, but with Mitchell and even Jordan at 75% health, we’d be blowing teams out.

I’m lost for words as to how good our D is despite losing most of last year’s team.
