New Canadian Currency for late 2011
I think this is a great idea.
The money will last longer and plus you can clean it! lol

They also don't have pennies and prices include tax, which are also great.

I'm happy we're going to polymer notes as experiences with them in Australia, Hong Kong, and Vietnam proved they were super durable.
But getting the Aussies to supply them? Weak. Isn't this the time to support Canadian Business. These guys have printed Canadian currency and have the polymer skills it would seem.

Aussies have the most technology and production facilities I guess. I'm guessing that small company is too small to really undertake this sort of scale.
The Canadian Mint will probably start buying the equipment and building factories to print our own notes in future years.
