But why is Denmark instituting that rule? Eriksen is hugely marketable and he deserves the money he gets from endorsements.

Pretty big piss off that it appears that nobody picked up the Canadian rights to the UEFA Nations League.
I really didn't want to watch France-Germany today or Italy-Poland tomorrow anyways.

"Florida Man" would make for an interesting mascot though ...

it's all because of their kit supplier Hummel, a Danish company. Obviously Nike, Adidas and so on are Hummels direct competition, and in order to continue their partnership with the Danish team, Hummel wants to enforce stronger rules regarding the players' individual sponsors. It's all a big mess at the moment.

The Danish FA and the players have called a truce. The players will play the Nations League game against Wales on Sunday under the old agreement, negotiations for the new one will resume on Monday.

Leroy Sane had talks with Low and has left the German Camp.
Between being dropped from the WC squad and he hasnt started a game this season for City and now this, what is going on with Leroy Sane?

I'm actually pretty intrigued by this new tournament now that it is upon us. I thought it was hogwash before.
The A League especially has some great matchups.

Why does Sane even care about playing for Germany anymore. Just concentrate on club football. He's already made his millions, just take summers off.

Doesn't help when you have self appointed coach and captain Kroos running his mouth in the media.

You'd think that if anyone knew better it'd be Beckham.
But who knows, maybe the team is in between Miami and Dade County so the 'Inter' tag makes a bit of sense. Because its certainly not an 'Internazionale.'

Depends.
That one feels chicken and the egg to me. Is it a Kroos problem - or is it because things have actually gotten so bad with Sane that they felt the media was the last resort.
Guy has been dropped by Germany and Man City after a great season last year, something seems off.

Yeah, this. I can understand being choked about being dropped by Germany prior to the World Cup after a pretty good Club season, but his club have dropped him after a pretty good Club season for no apparent reason.
Then Germany bring him in for this tournament and then hes dropped again?
Where theres smoke theres fire?

He was dropped by Germany despite a great season last year.
I just find it laughable that Kroos, should, after being part of a team responsible for giving the rest of Europe a laugh after their pantomine in Russia should, on one of their first media outings after said fiasco call out someone publicly that wasn't even there. And, because he doesn't like his posture? Let's all focus on Sane who wasn't even in Russia?
And again who the hell is Kroos to be running to the media? Did I miss the part where he was made captain?

again if I were Sane i'd just retire from International football. Why volunteer for someone who doesn't want you?
Sure he may have attitude problems but that's Man City's problem, they are the one's paying him they have to work it out.

Considering he has a World Cup title, 4 champions league titles, 4 league titles, was a member of the 2014 World Cup All Star team, and is a 3 time UEFA/FIFA All-World team member he’s in a pretty good position to be able to speak out.
Italy with another draw today and have only won 1 of their 6 matches in 2018. Not really a fan of the Mancini hire - wish they would have been patient, read the tea leaves on Conte at Chelsea and had waited to get him back. Under no circumstances should Balotelli be starting ahead of Belotti or Immobile in 2018.

pretty amazing what you can achieve as a "just" pretty good footballer when you're carried by superior teammates ...

His impressive silverware collection changes nothing.
He is neither the captain or the manager.
He gets a small snapshot of Sane and decides to rip him through the media. His comments do nothing except to put a target on Sane's back. And he is now an authority on what is going on at city?
I don't get the point of what he doing. He's basically telling the German public that Sane doesn't give a fata about the National Team. What is he trying to achieve?

by the way, Sane only left the German camp because his girlfriend gave birth to their first daughter yesterday.
so, no drama there.
