I've wanted to try one all my life. I had it and was not disappointed but not blown away either. It's real lobster meat and the bun is quite tasty.
For a combo that costs over $10 though, it's not worth it. There's hardly any filling at all.

If you're interested in making your ass explode, why not just save time and drink a laxative.

I love a good lobster roll, and McDonalds, but can't imagine that being something McDonalds can pull off too well.

I tried it today before going to Jurassic World. It could have been just the McDonalds I was at but I found it pretty tasteless and it was smaller than I thought it would be. I wasn't expecting it to be amazing so I can't say I was disappointed.

Just had the McLobster. I wanted to try this since my brother said it was so good, but was actually disappointed. It was hard to taste the lobster over the mayo, and lettuce. Not worth the 10 bucks (combo)
($7.50 alone, and the meat was not warm)
Overall, great to try once but that's pretty much it.

I agree with many of the people here- not bad, but would probably never get again.

You had me at mc and then bam, someone puts lobster there.
I am sensing that red lobster is in serious trouble thanks to this creation.

Fine, I'll brave up and go try it.
Will report back
Edit:
Genuinely surprised. Tasted like 100% real lobster (as they claim) As expected, way too much dressing. No butter on the bun which was disappointing. 6/10, But I'd eat it again if I was in the mood.

Typically, the loster in a lobster roll is always cold. It's basically lobster salad, so the mayo would split if the meat were warm. I had a couple mclobsters a couple days ago. It's expensive for mcdonald's, but when you compare it to other lobster rolls in Calgary, it's a bargain. The taste was alright, but after trying it once, I wouldn't get it again, at least not this year. I actually enjoyed the Alberta burger more.

The bathroom was my second home yesterday. I blame the McLobster.

Came in to read some stories about bathroom action, leaving satisfied, but likely not near as satisfied as those of you and have cleaned out your digestive tracts.

Tried one last summer in Nova Scotia...never again. More like a mayo sandwich with a hint of some kind of seafood.
Being a native Cape Bretioner I should have known a large company would never have a clue how to properly serve lobster.

You might be right, McDonalds are the biggest buyers of the trash fish called Pollock(used for Filet-O-Fish)
On the east coast Pollock was/is? actually used in the Lobster traps as bait, nobody ever ate them as it's flesh was full of bones and worms.
