10 kegs?!?
Can I come to this party?
Not the regular fair, but I got a keg from Wildrose. It was $200 plus $200 (I think?) deposit for the keg. Not sure how that compares to the others, but there's a lot of local Breweries (Village, Big Rock, etc) you may want to check out.

I like Wildrose and trying different brands, but as a keg-party throwing OG, I have to say those do not get the party rocking. OP has the right idea with good old lagers. People drink slow and don't want to pound a lot of beer when you start getting into the heavier ales, IPAs, etc.
AGD is the cheapest (and is Big Rock, so that's good) at about $180 for a full-size keg. It's really good out of a keg, too.
I'd get a quote from Willow Park and Liquor Depot, then pick between one of the two.

Lol OG... Oh Sliver.
Yeah I hear you, but most of those places will do a simple lager just like anyone else (Village Blonde, Wildrose Electric Avenue, Big Rock Grasshopper etc..).
Also, if you have enough people to need 10 kegs, fair to say some people wouldn't mind a little variety. Get 7 of the lagers and maybe one each of something different (Brown Ale, Wheat Ale, maybe a fruit one etc..)

Hahaha yeah gotta go with the Stampede beer staples, we had Velet Fog and some Richards Red a couple years ago and it did not go over too well. Only have 3 taps serving so we usually try to keep with a limited selection besides who complains about free beer ?!?

Have you checked the 'Social Conventions you dont follow thread?'
Complaining about free beer is a drop in the bucket for that crowd.

Not to nitpick...actually, yes I am going to nitpick, but Village Blonde, and Grasshopper are not lagers.
I think a lot of people just assume lager = easy drinking, golden coloured beer.

Yes I know, you're right.
Just going along with the vernacular in reference to the stampede crappy beers. I'd rather pay an extra 20 bucks for something local and halfway decent.

Had an idea!

Since when do people not pound back crappy beers like Bud Light, Budweiser, Molson, etc, etc....but they DO pound back heavy beers like IPA, Dark Ales, etc?

I don't think "halfway decent" is a raving endorsement.
Compared to Bud or Canadian? Those are, at the very least, on par.

I think the OP said the other way around.
My point is that if you're going to have THAT much beer, might as well have some variety.

Ended up going with Willow Park, gave me a great deal and had an amazing selection. Ended up going with some Budweiser, MGD, Shocktop and got a pony of Erdinger Dunkle (because it's my favorite and screw everyone else)

Almost anywhere will do it for you, but you probably want to find a place that has an employee only walk-in fridge in the back. They will order whatever you want, give them at least a weeks notice to be safe. AGLC pretty much has an MSRP style price list, they will probably even show it to you (this is what we can get, this is how much we can sell it for). I've had guys I know sell them to be for a little bit less than the price list, not really sure what the rules are around that because it's all regulated.
Renting several keg pumps might be a bigger problem than getting the kegs, especially during stampede.
n/m saw that you already got it.

Most people would call RR a crappy ol lager anyway. And Velvet Fog... yummy!
You sure do have picky coworkers!
Again, where is this party?
