Surprised this has not been bumped. I tried the Pizza Hot Dog and the mini donut popsicle, both decent, both overpriced.

Are there actually people buying those massive ice cream cones and $100 hot dogs?

A friend and I will be sharing the cost of the Dragon Dog on Sunday. I will post my review after eating it.

On CBC this morning, the guy who sells the $100 hot dog claimed that over 2800 people have bought it so far this Stampede.

I didn't try any of the new stuff - I would have tried the mini-donut popsicle, but we were there during the torrential downpour then temperature drop on Saturday. It was too cold to try anything frozen that afternoon/evening.

There is a quick 280K for ya. Heck I doubt his overhead is much more than 100k so 150k-180K for two weeks work isn't too shabby.

I saw two people eating the ice cream on sunday. I would think that it is physically impossible for one person to ingest that much lactose without vomiting.

Of note, you can get the mini donut popsicle on Stephen Avenue for a dollar cheaper.

My buddy had the crazy cone... it was underwhelming...

I had the Jurassic Pork mac and cheese. It was good. Basically mac and cheese with pulled pork.

I tried ginger beef poutine. Poutine was decent, ginger beef tasted like costco; I don't think it worked together.

Also tried the double maple donut bacon cheeseburger, would've been good if they didn't smother it in sweet cinnamon gravy.

Not necessarily always accurate, but this blog should give you an idea of what everything looks like.

What the eff is with all of these new foods being so poorly advertised? Tiny little signs on the menus. I wish they would make them more visible.

Had the Lobster Corn Dog yesterday. It was tasty but it really didn't taste too much like lobster. In fact, I couldn't decide if it was lobster meat stuffed into a hot casing or just some lobster meat mixed in with regular hot dog meat.

The lobster corn dog was a let down IMO - it was a bit of lobster meat mixed into hotdog meat. Biggest food letdown was that second to non meats aren't in weadickville anymore - they were my go to as they were cheap and really tasty.

There was no salt water taffy truck this year. It upset me greatly.

The Nut Man had Salt Water Taffy. Met one of the owners of this place, nice man, he gave my son a free bag of Ju Jubes.

Has anyone tried the mini donut frappuccino from Starbucks that they have during this Stampede? I'm always tempted to order it but can't do it once I get to the counter.
