Default Lobster Roll

So I gotta say the lobster roll is one of my favorite dishes, but finding a good one is few and far between. The Mclobster thread got me thinking and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where to get a good one in Calgary?

Perhaps any other good seafood recommendations?

They're serving them at McDick's right now til the end of the month.

I dare not try it, however.

Moxie's had a Lobster Brie Grilled Cheese that was so damn good. Haven't been there in a while though, so not sure if they still have it.

Earls had a good one 2 or 3 years ago as well. A tad heavy on the dressing but was worth it for the bun alone.

Also curious where you can get a good lobster roll nowadays

I'm not sure if it's good, since I haven't tried it, but I know Rooney's Oyster bar on 10th Ave and 4th Street SW makes them.

They got rid of it. But Joey has one, or at least the Eau Claire location. It is very good.

Question - what makes a good lobster roll? Kinda would think that buying a lobster tail and some nice Portuguese rolls and making it yourself would provide the best value.

Model Milk makes an amazing lobster roll in a brioche bread.

What makes a good lobster roll is a light bun, but can hold up to the real lobster, mayo, celery and seasoning. Without overpowering the lobster.

Steaming crab legs seems simple. How can they mess that up?

Lobster sliders at The National on 17th are actually quite tasty.
