Shaw 150 and most of the cable package including movies and HD, excluding kids programming and time shift channels - $165 for another 1 1/2 years as per their 150 2 year contract...

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

Shaw users should use the telus promo (they came door to door) to negotiate lower rates on internet.

Its on the telus website.

I have exactly the same except with the kids programming. No time shift channels. We pay far too much for our package with a 2 year locked in contract and Blue Sky. While Blue Sky is cool now that it is interfaced with Netflix, we all here in Canada pay far too much compared to our brothers and sisters to the south.

Don't even get me started on the price for mobile cost services with data limits that a 2 year old could utilize in under an hour.

That's exactly what we did last night. Been with Shaw forever and had an old plan that was way too much $$. Ended up getting Shaw 150&Large pack with phone for $150/m for 2yrs and a $50 credit.

Telus 50.

Telus Optik - Pick 6 combo

HBO

$103.81. No contract. Rate is good for another 8 months.

HBO is $9/mth for 3 months.

Telus 50 would be 150 but it's not available in my area.

I was really upset that Shaw wouldn't do this for me. I straight up told them that if they could keep the promo I would stay with them. They wouldn't, and now I'm with Telus for the $55 in the first year (along with $150 bill credit and a $200 prepaid visa to pay for buying out the shaw contract). This only happened 2 months ago and the competition has been seriously heating up so maybe things have changed.

BigNumbers wins the best package though. How the heck did you manage to get cable with that price?!

Guessing this is a promotional (initial) price? If so how long does it last for?

Ya this was two weeks ago for me. They just randomly called and normally I don't answer but I did. Seemed like a good deal Blue Sky is neat and all but I don't think it is going to make me have cable again. Saves me 300 bucks over the next year so I am ok with getting free cable for a couple months
