WCSF: St. Louis Blues (C3) vs Dallas Stars (WC1) — BLUES WIN SERIES 4-3
My prediction: Blues in 6. This team reminds me of the Pens 4 years ago, getting off to a lousy start to the season and then going on a crazy run. That and the Blues are due for a cup.

This is the fourth time these two teams have met in the playoffs since the Stars have been based in Dallas. The most recent playoff series was three years ago and the Blues won the second round series 4-3.

I used to be a Stars fan. Back when the Flames missed the playoffs seven years in a row and the Stars knocked the Oilers out of the playoffs just about every year. It helped that Nieuwendyk was my favorite player and a part of those Stars teams.
Now? I really feel nothing for them. I'm cheering for the Blues in this one. Helps that I picked 6 Blues in my pool.
Blues had such an amazing turn around and have been so good that I'm sure they make it past this round. 5 games.
I think this will be Dallas. Blake Comeau will score the series-winner.

Tails is is so I will take Stars in 7 games. No point in even trying to analyze the series as it clearly doesn't matter in the 2019 edition of the playoffs.
Blues in 7. They've been playing unreal hockey for several months now. However, Dallas has shown that they can beat some very good teams of late as well, mostly built on goaltending and defense, and some quick strike offense. Blues have a bit more depth in their lineup, but the talent is pretty much a saw-off overall. It depends on Binnington continuing his play or not.
Should be a good series.

I am gonna say Dallas. I think that defensively they were really strong last series. Also, Their top line takes over games when they are on the ice. Not to mention Bishop has been in good form.
It is fascinating that three of the four lower seeds have won their Western Conference playoff series, with the possibility of a sweep tonight. Out of five completed series the only higher seed to advance thus far is NYI. When was the last time so many series favourites collectively foundered?
