While this is definitely cool, 500 Wii points for a game? Really?

Kudos to Nintendo for finding new and inventive ways to get customers to bend over and like it...

How about some VIC20 games?

The main reason why i pre-ordered the Wii was because of the turbo grafix 16 library. I think if and when the 64 games they will be less then 500 wii points.

I know it seems a little steep to be paying 5 bucks for a game which is in the tv stand underneath the Wii. oh well.

Is there any way to get Wii points besides buying them?

If not, why not just sell the game for $5 if you need $5 worth of points?

cause you lose track of how much things cost - you're not used to buying things in wii points.

i have learned the value of a dollar - i haven't learned the value of a wii point.

That, and from a business standpoint, buying wii points is kind of like buying a gift card. You already prepaid for those points, so Nintendo gets all your money upfront, even if don't use all your points until later.

If you have the original game why would you want to buy it on your Wii? When I was a kid I had to sell my old Nintendo systems when I upgraded to a SNES and again to N64to even afford them. To have the chance to play Super Mario 1-3, or Mario Cart 64 is well worth the convenience of having them a click of a button away after paying 5 bucks for the game.

It sure beats trying to find a used Nintendo, a used copy of the game and blowing into the thing for 5 mins to try and get it to work.

Back on topic, what was the game where you flew your plane and had to do missions and constantly had to switch to the other screen to preform maintenance and fuel stuff on your plane as you were flying? I always used to play it at a friends, but can never remember what it was called for sure, although "Buck Rogers" comes to mind

I thought most reports were saying this would be a UK thing only, at least to start?

Space Taxi. Skool Daze. Great American Cross Country Road Race. Summer Games. Winter Games. Impossible Mission. Awesome.

Any of those old Epyx games would be fine by me...Jumpman, Summer and Winter Games, California Games, and of the "Street Sports" series.

Load "*",8,1.
