Default Oops! I hope I can restore this

I mistakenly deleted a file from my address book with a couple hundred email addresses. Thankfully, I have a backup, but I wonder if there is some way for me to restore this address book file without going to the backup, which is harder and less convenient for me. Is there a deleted file I can go to to find this and restore it? If not, off to the backup I go. I use Outlook.

uhhh, if it isnt in the recycle bin, I have no idea!

Outlook and me are not really on speaking terms since I met Mr Gmail, and I would prefer to keep it that way.

ON second thought, if there isnt a file that went to recycle bin then it certianly is in your Application Data folder with the rest of your outlook info. Restoring that is something I don't want to even attempt to explain, but I am sure it involves smashing your head into your monitor untill you black out

No, it's not in the recycle bin that I can find. Anyone know where the application data folder is? I'll look for it. Until then, I'll check back here later.

Edited out superfluous info.

Just checked on my Vista machine, path should be --> C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Local

Apparently ( according to random google search ) the XP path is --> C:\Documents and Settings\(User)\Application Data.

As for restoring the information, I do not claim to know anything about it, but it seems that this site may help:
How to manage personal folders files in Outlook (IMO)

If it does not, there will be something on Microsoft's site there that will explain the procedure
