Yeah, they try really hard to target younger demographics, especially with some of their musical guests. But ultimately a full sketch comedy show is not a young person game anymore.

Watching this tonight here with a friend - and we we both never heard of this Calgarian Tate Mcrae, we also both thought she was basically a Cowboy's server with an above average voice.

The untold battle of the sexes and the never before footage of author L. Frank Baum had me cracking up.
I thought Momoa was pretty solid.

Emma Stone - who I love - had her 5 timer's club episode tonight.
It wasn't crazy funny, but it was weird, which I can appreciate. I'd almost prefer to have an off-the-wall episode than a boring, unfunny one.

Julia Stiles looks like she hasn't aged at all in 20 years since that movie.

Adam Driver's opening monologue was really well done. Nothing about the content was particularly memorable, but the delivery was one of the best I've seen.

Driver is one of the better SNL hosts of the past decade.

Che and Jost’s writing unread jokes for each other tonight was gold!

That was Che taking it to the next level for sure

The last joke, when he mentioned the little art films.. seemed pretty tame to end there… then … oh boy… then… It all tied together.

Wow

Weekend Update was hilarious and, unfortunately, the only great part. For a X-mas show, that was a solid meh; nothing really outstanding. And what has Wiig done to herself; she looks so fake now.

Kate should have used the ‘cooter / tooter’ character. One of the things I’ve really laughed at that she has done

The ABBA sketch is going viral. French and Saunders did a great one years ago with C’est La Vie.

Yeah, I was surprised and a bit disappointed that there was no abduction skit.

was hoping for the same, although my recollection is they may have really used that as a sendoff sketch her last episode, maybe felt they had closed that door. can't imagine we don't every see it again if she returns

Because I had no idea of who they were, I had low expectations for last night's episode, and they failed to even achieve those.

The whole episode was that the guy is tall, hot (don't see it myself), and Aussie...not much to work with. Singer was a standard pop lip sync. meh.

Yeah, last night's was pretty forgettable. I was surprised Tina didn't make an appearance since they had Rapp and McAdams there promoting Mean Girls.

Next week, the musical act is a better actor than the host...

And for the first time in a long time, I've actually heard of both of them.

I thought the bowling skit was pretty funny. Host was bland AF though.
