I figure it is his experience in the Sarlacc and the bounty hunter life that has aged/weathered him so; it's been a hard life.

I also think that we will see tuskens help him with the Hutts, the have spent a lot of time building one into a particular bad ass.

The in canon answer would be prolonged exposure to the twin suns of tatooine. There’s a legends comic that shows Obi-Wan purposefully aged himself that same way to avoid detection. In universe he was in his mid 50’s during ANH.

Temuera Morrison is from NZ and is part Maori. There was a couple of instances in the bar fight where he had a facial expression that reminded me of the All Blacks performing the haka.

And then the end scene around the bonfire also reminded me of the ritualistic dance of the haka. What a great scene, IMO it made complete sense and came across as completely natural in the context of the story.

I had no idea that what was missing in my life was to see Boba Fett perform the haka with Sand People.

This show is great.

Or, it could have been true up to a certain age, but as he gets older, he gets older at a faster rate.

I believe they've already established that the accelerated aging for the clone soldiers slowed down over time, which is why there are still some around in Rebels and they're not 180 year-old men. So, it's possible the opposite is true for Boba.

In Legends even though Boba was an unaltered clone, he was still a clone, and though he didn't age at a rapid rate, he did get sick from the flaws caused by the cloning and gene shift, so he developed lots of tumors and other debilitating diseases that the Clones suffered from later in their shortened life.

I was thinking that we didn't see Boba needing to be in a Bacta tank during his time in the desert, so maybe either he's sick from the cloning process as he ages, or he receives a wound in the fight against before the modern day events.

I really think they need to let Jon Favreau produce the next Star Wars movie.

I think they need to base the next star wars film in the distant past with no connections to the saga characters.

See if they can build something new with the awesome universe that doesn't lean on nostalgia.

I don't have much interest in a film about the pilots. I think that projected was scrapped though?

I would agree that a film series without previous characters would be preferrable. I found the Mandalorian a superior series to Boba Fett for that reason. The fact that Boba Fett was a previous character (even if a minor one) actually makes the series drag more. I'm not all that interested in what happens to Jabba's empty palace.

I liked how they used the existing Star Wars species in the Mandalorian, and the Luke cameo was pretty great, but overall the story was pretty detached from the previous movie characters.

A movie in the future could work too. It could be crap if it falls into the same traps as the sequel trilogy though. Having stories based around bigger and better jedi powers or rebuilding a bigger and better Jedi body/Empire is going to lead down the same road where the sequel trilogy failed.

I don't even know what the next Star Wars movie can/should be about.

The Old Republic or...whatever the hell comes after the horrid sequel trilogy both offer fresh points to jump in.

Favreau needs to do for Star Wars what he did for Marvel with the first Iron Man movie.

...which is no small task.

I still want the Old Republic era movie or Trilogy

Thousands of Sith Lords and an entire Empire.
The Jedi were not good people, they used child soldiers. Committed outright genocide killing men woman and children to stop the Sith.

They literally started the war with the Sith who were all Jedi who wanted nothing more then to study all aspects of the Force.
The Jedi used super weapons, biological warfar.

The Mandalorian's were at their height as a conquering marauder army.
the Republic was really corrupt.
The battle of Rusaan, could be awesomely done in a movie.

The timing isnt really all that important as most things in the Star Wars Universe dont appear to change all that much.

I still dont like 'prequels.' Take the story 1000 years into the future, invent all new worlds and characters and stories and move along.

They can make jokes about their ancestors that kept getting jerked around by that accursed 'Skywalker family.'

I hope we don't get any High Republic stuff.

I'd be happy if they stuck to stories in the Rebellion era cause its clear all the best shows have taken place in that era. (Clone Wars animated being the only exception)

I see a lot of people talking about clunky fight scenes, which I understand. But I actually like that about it. Boba Fett doesn’t seem like any sort of ultimate combat expert, just brute force and determination. Like the third line checker that’s the fan favourite. I dig it about him and the scenes.

So badass!!! Looking forward to seeing him in action. Also great acting in a helmet… he looks scared ####less.

They should just “Spider-Man it” and redo 7-9 with Favreau.

Is there something weird about his teeth? Never noticed. Odds are he has some kind of implants or caps.

I love this show. That 2nd episode was just what was needed from a SWU perspective - putting some backstory and shining a light on a culture we previously had little answers for.

Personally I love the "rule by respect" mantra. Seems to be bringing chaos to a chaotic land, even if he is the new crime lord.

Meh, I'll be honest, this show needs to pick up the pace and be less formulaic.

You need to start listening to more "The Holocaust didn't happen" podcasts.
