I forgive him. The positive he's shown outweighs the negative by far.

That happens,bl the issue is offensive dynamo Forbort getting caught. Guy should be watching from the stands, instead he has been on for 3 killer goals. Guys is a plug, but since he's big Ward thinks he's good.

Looks like the same game plan they’ve used the last few games.

Horrible gap control so far, and getting caught standing still.
I think this is why we see them play a collapse defense at times...coaching staff see's that this team just isn't great at managing gaps or playing an aggressive press defense.
Always get caught on the wrong side of the puck carrier and take themselves out of the play.

Forbort was so slow and out of position on both of those odd man rushes, that's all on him
I never complain here about our players, but Forbort has been so noticeably awful I can't help it. I wanted Stone in today to replace him and I'll be disappointed if they make the same mistake playing Forbort again for game 6

Team looks completely passive, gonna be another 3:1 shot ratio where Talbot needs to stand on his head to give us a chance unless the rest of the roster wakes the #### up.

This is looking like a repeat of last year in Colorado. I think the team is playing more physically, so that's different. But they are still getting owned at 5 v 5. This year its Miro Heiskanen. Last year, it was MacKinnon. Where is the Flames top end player?
Maybe the Flames don't have good enough players?
Get good players. Keep good players.

This team tries to play way too cute and then gives up rushes the other way, this is looking real bad.

Is for zone entry not scoring off the rush. IMO it’s really effective, in spite of the fact that it gets criticized heavily on CP.

Not much going well for the flames so far.
They need to settle down.

That Benn goal was the hockey version of a slam dunk.
The Flames can't win like this. They look like garbage right now.

The answer is yes, lots of them. It’s not meant to be some sort of secret. It’s meant to give the skater a good view of the defensive position and get a good entrance. And it works 90% of the time.
It’s what they do once they’re in that’s an issue. Though they were 31% coming in so I’d say there shouldn’t be a lot of powerplay criticism.
