Incidently it is a crime no one has any love for Missy Elliot here, easily the best hip hop artist of the late 90's and massively influential.

I would go MC Lyte for a female innovator but there is no wrong answer

Have you suffered from severe brain trauma? Missy Elliot? No, maybe you can make a case that Timberland was one of the most prolific and influential producers in the 90's, but Missy? And "easily the best hip hop artist of the late 90's"? That's the stupidest thing I've heard since Greedo shooting first.

You realise of course that Missy Elliot discovered Timberland, he was her childhood friend and was her first producer. That without her there would be no Timberland, and that along with that she and he developed their talents together.

And what does that have to do with the price of tea in China? Nothing.

They were a team, if Timberland was influential then she was just as important because their was little he did that didn't have her help.

Great track and all, but I mean, the real Bushwick...

Or if you want the rap game broken down

Or if you want to get a little funky

And for some reason Trophy wasn't on youtube, so Read These Nikes instead...

Mind playing tricks on me is a great track and all, but if that's the one track you pick to present what the GB is all about, you are way out to lunch. Murder Rape Murder.

Didn't realize this thread existed haha.

I was able to go to the KRS-One concert in Vancouver in November. You're not a complete human until you go to one of his concerts. A truly amazing thing to see. Highly recommend going to his concerts.
