Lack to have Lu's face on his mask.

Still my all-time favourite Flames one is Trevor Kidd's dragon mask.

Ugh, Trevor Kidd. Still drives me crazy that they continually tied their horse to that clunky wagon. He cost the Flames a lot of wins IMO.

The Kidder wasn't a bad option when you look at the other options during the Kidder era like Andrei Trefliov, Jeff Reese, Jason Muzzatti, & Rick Tabaracci.

Tabaracci would have been a far better choice. They stuck with Kidd because they expected their high goalie draft pick would show why they chose him. Numerous times they stuck with Kidd even though he was flopping all over the place like a dead fish letting in garbage goals. Cost us the San Jose series for sure. But I guess its not really Kidds fault, the coach was too stubborn to change.

Anyways, its all history now, but it drove me crazy at the time and apparently still does!

I remember when he used to twitch his legs back and forth in the butterfly position. I don't know why he did it, but I used to think it was awesome. But yeah, he wasn't the greatest. And yes, I agree that that mask is king.

i don't understand the point of glow in the dark paint on a goalie mask.... unless they sit around the change room with the lights out ooooow-ing and ahhhh-ing over the glow.

currently i'm getting my second mask repainted. i'm pulling a bunch of influence from miller's retro mask, but changing colours/logos so it works with my men's team jerseys. it's gonna be sweet - a big change from my normal skulls/death/fire!

Start of games can get pretty dark, but yeah I dunno.

The only thing I see when looking at that is a far superior jersey on Duckman than the team actually wears. That logo is freaking awesome. I can't believe they don't use it.

And Cam Talbot's actual Edmonton mask will be a Ghostbusters theme.

Here is a teaser of the glow in the dark features.

Why do some of these newer masks have glow in the dark paint on them? I don't see a purpose other than to say they have it.

Inspired by Edmontons defense and their ability to disappear or foreshadowing that any solid object will just go right through him?

Agh the one thing that bugs me is on both Ortio masks, the air vent is right where the F should be. It looks like lames on his mask.
