I'm going to put aside for a moment that I understand you hate the Jets and just treat this like a normal post.
I actually disagree. I found Nashville very unimpressive and the Avs were god awful unless Rantanen or MacKinnon were out there. Their goaltenders were also just awful except game 5. The Jets looked a lot more dominant in disposing of the Wild are on a pretty good hot streak.

You mean the Wild who were missing two of their top defensemen, and somehow qualified for the playoffs with a losing road record? Yeah, what a shock that the Jets looked like world beaters against that lot.

Yes the same Minnesota team that finished ahead of the standings of the team Nashville needed 6 games to beat.
That one.

The last two games between these two were both really entertaining. This should be a great series. I'll say Nashville in 6.

Sure. You glom on to that.
Nashville is a better team. They have proved it all year.

I really don't like the new playoff format. These two should be meeting in the WCF, not now.

This is going to be a hell of a second round series. I want to say the winner of this wins the west but it is impossible to count out Vegas the way the year has gone for them.

I hope Nashville wins but I think it’ll be the jets. They have the better overall team, Nash’s D is better but Jets have better forward depth and I think Jets D is pretty damn good too. Really is a shame that the top 2 teams in the league are forced to play each other now. I hope the NHL goes back to the old format. For everyone saying the Preds were the better team all season, keep in mind that the Jets only finished 3 pts back of the Preds, they actually had the higher ROW. Preds won two more games in the shootout, so really these teams were pretty much even. Not to mention I think Jets had more significant injuries to deal with. Anyways, should be a great series!

Don't let the first round fool you...Preds were pacing themselves and the Jets were going all out IMO

I like the make up of this Jets team, and they’re fun to watch. Big & fast. Young, solid goaltending, and great depth.
Their fan base, hasn’t had much to cheer for,.. for really ever. I know quite a many Jets fans around these parts, and a decent group, albeit there’s that one in any group.
These aren’t the Canucks of a few yesteryears ago, where those types of fans flourished.
So with that, Jets in 7.
