I can't get a handle on the playoff tree either. Us removing 2 teams means it doesn't follow the NHL strictly, but I can't really understand what it does instead.

Thanks for the great series to Colorado...really a homer series as the home team won every game. But we knew who would win in the end right? <nudge nudge wink wink>
Biggest margin of victory in any game.

Total goals in the Blues/Wild series ended up being 16-16
6 of 7 games were 1 goal games, the other a 2 goal game
Just an insanely close series. I don't recall one being that close from start to finish.

The Sharks/Hawks series was a lot closer than it should have been. The turning point was having to use A-Aron Dell when we were up 2-1 and we lost our momentum and were not able to recover.
His best players were his best, ours were not. Luongo outplayed Rask and even got the job done in Game 7 with a 95CON.
2nd year in a row that we lost in the 1st round but the big difference this year is we did so we a good prospect pool and 1st round picks in our back pocket so not a complete failure.
Congrats Tilley, you have a strong team.

The score of Game 7 was not indicative of the series. A tough, even series that was a battle. Pleased to come out alive, but the Sharks are a great team and pushed the Hawks to the limit.
Congratulations to MJK on a great season and building a team that will be a force to reckon with next year.
Now to face a tough Wild team with a lot of fire power, while the Hawks are beat up with another winger on IR. Need to push the series to the limit before Trocheck or Jokinen become options in the lineup.

Looks like the sim re-seeded after the first round based on the regular season standings. All four series look pretty even. No upsets at this point.

That's what I get for starting Elliot I suppose.
Congrats to the Wild for a hard caught series and moving on to the next round. A tough out this year for sure.
Bit of a bittersweet series, as it was my GMing playoff debut this season with hopefully more in the future, however I really thought I was set up better than just a first round exit, disappointing result.
