Here's a trivia question: When was the last Flames game they have played and not had a fighting major?

Edit: Ok, not so long ago but there haven't been many this year!

He's just mad that his Riders have about a 2% chance of winning the Grey Cup on Sunday.

He's being flip.

Ugly hockey game.. but I think that had a lot more with the Coyotes completely plugging up the neutral zone. Tippett needs to coach that way if the Coyotes are going to have a chance to be competitive.

2nd line was great. Still love Bouwmeester's game. Jokinen is just right snakebit. He just needs to keep on firing the puck at the net.

Regardless, we got the two points and have taken 5 out of our last 6. Bring on the roadtrip.

I'm sure this was discussed, but why wasn't Sarich playing?

Probably the puck to the head... or he's being traded... or Sutter's sending a message.

Official statement is that he's a healthy scratch. May be that Sutter wants Sarich to take the night off (For his gaffs or that slapshot to the head), and gave us a look a Johnson (Who, IMO, looked pretty solid again tonight)

I thought Johnson looked great too. I would like to see more of him in the lineup, thought he played solid.

NHL.com claiming Flames had 21 giveaways and Phoenix only had 7. Ridiculous.

Yeah, what a moron! The over 500 points he has accumulated in his career, the 15 points he has put up this season, and the recent chemistry he has found with Jarome all point to this.

Seriously, give me a break. Your "yay" attitude is bogus. The guy didn't play great but neither did most Flames tonight. To put the horns on him is ridiculous.

It was Sarich, he's a turnover machine.

Unless the takeaway stat was wildly in Calgary's favour, I'll call BS on that stat.

Thats so wrong. No way the Flames had 21, Phoenix had more giveaways.

I thought Pardy played much better tonight as well.

Johnson was great. Barely noticed him.
