I honestly think this was worse.

You have to recognize the fact that the 2017 Rockets weren't the favourites to win anything that year, they were a seriously flawed team with one big star with a history of playoff failure. And they were playing against a Spurs team that even without Kawhi is still the Popovich spurs with a whole bunch of guys who have done it before. This is the Suns, the anointed best team in the NBA by far, the prohibitive favourites to win the championship, with an MVP contender and an all-time hall of fame point guard in one of his better seasons (albeit late in his career) along with a first-overall pick center that dominated all year and the runner-up for defensive player of the year, that already showed they could win in the playoffs by making the finals literally last season... against a Mavs core that prior to this year had never won a series, with a first-year coaching staff and their second-highest paid player out for the year with an injury.

And they're down 30 at the half? That's worse for me.

As for the actual conference finals I can't say I'm too excited. Warriors should have no issue with the Mavs, I'll give the Mavs a game out of respect for Luka, but a sweep wouldn't be surprising. East is probably gonna be a closer series, but it's gonna be a grindfest, defensive series, which isn't all that much fun.

Wiggins really has rounded into a very good player. Not quite elite, but he's become the new Iguodala for them. He really made life difficult for Luka on defense last night, and his shot selection has improved so much in Golden State.

He has, but I think it's because of less pressure on him being on the team he's on. I see the same thing with Siakam from a fate perspective. I don't think he's great as being "the man" on the team, but as a supporting player can be great. I know this isn't a discussion on the Raps, per se, but the Raps really have to get a legit star who can shoot, and leave Siakam as the third option (behind theoretical new guy and Barnes).

This was thankfully overturned, just a brutal posterizing.

Durant hasn’t spoken to Nets front office since first-round sweep. Definitely bailing them to try a form another super team somewhere else.

He's always had nice things to say about the Raptors

All NBA third team? Where do they stop? lol.

I think they should explore dealing him. He'll never be better IMO. Gotta go for the benefit 2 years down the road.

There has been three All-NBA teams for at least 30 years so it's not like they just introduced it. Next offseason makes more sense for trading Siakam, he'll be down to one year left and due a (likely) max deal. And I want to see another playoffs with Scottie having another year and (ideally) a healthier team. East will remain wide open, especially if the Nets implode further.

I kind of hope they do win, especially if it's Boston in the finals.

Would be nice to have Curry kind of stick it to Durant, and win another championship without Durant on that team.

3rd team isnt a stretch...its still only naming top 15 players out 450 players on all rosters. It's equivalent of 1 team.

Hell of a performance by Jimmy to take this to seven. Hasn't been a great series, but going the distance at least.

3rd best player at your position in the league. That’s pretty impressive.

Kyle playing an instrumental role too. Gonna be an interesting game 7.

I’m kinda conflicted. I like Tatum and Brown but at the same time I like Jimmy and of course seeing Lowry in the finals again would be great. My gut says the Celtics take game 7 but we’ll see

Yeah, I personally though Lowry would be in his element this game with him and Butler clicking on all cylinders. Butler has been good but it's not enough. In a way I like Butler because he just wants to play hard and not put up with BS. I'd love someday if he were on the Raps. On the Boston end, how can you not like Tatum? He's not a #### talker - he just plays hard and smart. I don't dislike either team.

As much as I like Curry's shooting ability, I want to see one of these teams upset GS. Sometimes Curry seems cocky and it's a little nudge to not like them as he was once a pretty humble guy.

Celtics should have put this thing to bed already, instead the Heat are right there with lots of game left.
