That seemed to happen with both Letang and Steen (and Vlasic)
Foligno was the most popular guy by far.

Wild were happy to land Nielsen for a pretty affordable deal to round out our forwards and push Stajan out of the line up

Really happy to have landed Jumbo Joe. Didn't send in an offer until last night as I tried to get a forward by trading a dman but with the amount of quality dmen in free agency, most GMs wanted to try to land someone from one of the batches.

Overall, I think there are some really good deals in there. Nothing crazy like we usually see.

Happy to shore up the goalie position. Halak may even start ahead of Jones with the ratings being so similar. Overall most guys seem to be market value without any ridiculous overpayments as seen in prior years (See: Stempniak, Lee).

Mixed bag from a Hawks perspective on batch 1. Very pleased to get essentially a top pairing on defense with Vlasic and Petry, both at reasonable salaries. Disappointed that I missed on a couple of forwards and could not add a goalie. Great work by DTMBro to get the top ranked forward and dman, both on very good deals.
