Were the last 3 shows you saw in the Saddledome? If so, we can probably assume it will be the same. Big huge stage in the middle!

I asked for the exact same reason as you, but Ive gone to concerts in the past where you could sit behind the stage (which would suck).

I assume the Saddledome can accomodate this?
It will be. They confirmed it in the tour details when they released pre-sale info on Metclub.com.

"9: Even more good news - ticket prices have not changed in FOUR years! Yep - it's 2004 again and floor tickets will be $75 and reserved will be $55. Of course there will be additional building fees, ticketing fees, etc., but you get the idea. The stage will be "in the round"!"

Yes they were. I am fairly certain it will be in the round.

Good lord(maybe that should be unlord) this book is amazing. If you grew up with "that guitar sound" this book is mandatory.

I'm sure most know but in case you didn't Death Magnetic was leaked a few days ago. You can find it on any torrent site....and get this Lars is O.K. with it being leaked! Which of course must mean they make most of their money touring.

I really really really wanted to hate it, but unfortunately it is a great album IMHO. Justice and the Black album put in a blender (mostly Justice) with a couple of minor Load/Re-load touches. Rick Rubin does it again!

Or he's just realized that with the way the Internet is nothing can be done to prevent things like this from happening. He's just happy it was leaked a week and a half before release instead of months.

FYI the new Bloodbath album "The Fathomless Mastery" has leaked early and is available on most torrent sites. It is to be released Oct 28 in NA. Amazing album, they have quickly become my favourite band. I'll still be buying it to support the group, but get it now if you can.

The new Amon Amarth, Bloodbath, Haggard and Gojira albums are all great.

I especially cannot get enough of the new Gojira.

I came across a copy of that Gorija (never listened to them before) and while it sounds interesting it hasn't grabbed me much. This new Intronaut on the other hand really has. Fantastic album. Same goes for the new Burst.

Well, great thread.....I got a lot of new music from it.

But....I'm not into the 'metal'....as much as others here, and am looking for more of the 'hard' rock style music. Anyone have suggestions?

Something like King's X....etc, etc....

Not sure if this is up your alley but check out Pride Tiger. They sound a bit like Lynyrd Skynyrd.

well if you're a fan of hard rock, Clutch should be at the top of your list to check out if you haven't yet

Down is also a must

two of the best vocalists in metal or rock today, Russell Allen and Jorn Lande

Spiritual Beggars is an extremely underrated band

Span, band from Norway that sadly broke up

Aussie band by the name of Karnivool

Fu Manchu is classic

and finally, an awesomely insane video by He Is Legend
