Default August 3 with five games.

There are a pair of round robin games included on the Monday OOT. The other three games have teams that could be put on the brink of elimination if they lose.

The Lightning lead 2-0 late in the second period. Oshie and Gourde had a scrap.

Wow, Kuznetsov ties it up with a power play goal and it is 2-2 after forty minutes.

The Stars woke up in the second period with their three goals on ten shots. Heiskanen is the play maker with three assists.

Price is bailing his team out again as the Penguins are outshooting the Habs 9-2 so far.

So what's the deal with these round robin games? What do they mean?

Geez, it would suck to lose a star player to injury during a seeding round.

And, so that those teams have played some games to get back in something of a groove, while the play in teams have gotten up to speed on their games.

seeding is pretty important though...could be the difference between playing a 12 seed vs. a 4 or 5 or something

Damn, thought Dallas was going to beat Vegas with that 3-1 lead. Can’t stand Vegas. A lower seeding would make it more difficult.

Hasn't been talked about but I absolutely loved that 2 Dallas palyers ,Dickinson and Seguin kneeled with Lehner and Reeves. Took courage and conviction. Loved that Dumba did it but thought Nurse and Subban should of too. Their choice not to but I feel ot was week just the hands on the shoulder. Good on for Dickonson ,Seguin and Lehner. I loved that they didn't just stay on their blue line to do it but joing Reeves and Lehner on the Golden Knights line to do it. That is solidarity for a cause. Untill its all sorted out and everyone is equal I think every single player and fan should be kneeling.

The Knights turned it on in the 3rd period as they outshot the Stars 16-6 and scored 3 goals in 5 minutes.
