This team is going to be a pain in the ass.

Still $16 million in cap space too.
Agreed. Plus every one of those guys will have a chip on their shoulder. Should be fun.

contract was rejected by the league and needs to be restructured. A bit embarrassing for Francis.

Nobody in the organization knows that 1.5 million is more than 25% of 5 million?

So bizarre that there isn’t a computer program that has defined variables for you to fill in within the limits of the rules - seems like That would be within the league’s capacity to do, and would save them a lot of issues.

How is this in any way on tbe League? One would think it is not too much to expect that the braintrust in their new half-billion-dollar franchise could do basic math. This is embarrassing for Seattle, and it is all theirs.

Oh it is 100% on Seattle, but it’s just strange how these multi multi billion dollar entities have weird analog quirks built into their operations. Like the way all trades have to be sent in via fax.

My early impression of the Kraken is they’re trending to be the Mariners of the NHL.

#### em. Shoulda named themselves the Sockeyes.

I have a feeling that Seattle is going to be the exact opposite of Vegas. Call it a gut instinct….

Are they really still using fax machines ?!?!

Can you still buy fax machines? Do young people know how to use fax machines?

I thought that for the last decade "faxing contracts to head office" was just a figure of speech.
