I dont know...I actually look back fondly of my days playing in some of the worst weather. It was kind of fun!
I'd sooner play in rain or snow and cold than 30+ degrees.

An early goal for Canada could be huge. Could see Mexico just packing it in if it's that bad

If Canada can play in the heat and humidity in Haiti; a country that was in the middle of a civil war which saw the previous opponents held up at gunpoint, Mexico can play in the cold and snow in Canada.

The worst weather element in soccer, bar-none. Is mother-####ing wind.

This is a game these players will never forget. They may not be looking forward to playing in the snow, but guaranteed when the whistle blows, they are gonna be flying. I think Herdman will play that angle too - "you guys will remember this game forever when your careers are over."

USA up on Jamaica 1-0 really early. Weren't expecting any different, but was hoping for Jamaica to take some points from them.

Don't we actually want US and Mexico to win as long as they aren't playing Canada.
Finishing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd doesn't really matter as long as you're top 3.
I want US and Mexico to take all the points against Panama, Jamaica, etc.

We want to finish first!
It might matter for World Cup seeding.

Just get into the World Cup. Couldn't care at all about winning the Hex, or what impact it has on the seeding.
Bigger gap between Canada and whoever is in 4th place the better and all that matters.

Yes. But Jamaica is not really a threat so I'd like them to take points off the States. Panama yes, we want them to lose to everyone.

Why is the Jamaican stadium so sparse of fans?

Can only imagine it’s Covid protocol.

Yeah a draw probably is the best result. More games that don’t include Canada that have 2 points given out, instead of 3 points the better

If I was allowed to behave at a Sporting Even the way I could 40 years ago, I would go to this game. If I behave that way today, I'd lose my job and become a national Headline. So not being able to harass Mexican players about cold weather takes all the fun out of this. The weather isn't as lousy at this minute as it was this morning, but it's going to be hard for either side to do much of anything. Took me an hour and a half this morning to shovel my drive way, and to my chagrin another 30 at lunch time..as there was like another 10 centimeters. I'm a bad person, and I'd much rather it was those Hondurans shivering at the thought of this game....but how you like that weather Mexcio!
