I like how Reider's played and his speed could really help those guys IMO. Guy had some good years in Arizona I think the Oilers just ruined his reputation like they often do with players.

he isn't going to help much with retrieving pucks
at least Robinson would bang some bodies and give them a little energy and space
either way though, we're hoping for a 4th liner to save the top line

Like that Jankowski is in. The main reason the Flames acquired Forbort was to relieve some PK time from the top defencemen. Taking a penalty killer out did the opposite for the forwards.
Also I’m a big Buddy Robinson fan. Really solid at both ends of the rink and huge.

Not comparing him to Lindros in his prime, but I feel like they should have given Sam a shot at the first list for this very reason. He can skate, he can bang, and he can leave the hands to Monahan and Gaudreau.

Regardless of what happens tonight, there will still be Flames games tomorrow that we can all continue to enjoy, argue over, pick apart, celebrate, laugh at, etc. (not literally tomorrow, but figuratively, like in a few months or whatever).
