I think this is a fair settlement as opposed to completely sewering a franchise the NHL has been coddling for decades.

Sucks for the Coyote fans who did nothing wrong and the organization is less competitive on the ice. Yeah I know, what fans....

In these cases, I like to see the perpetrators dealt with harshly in a way that doesn’t hurt the fans. That is hard to do though when the team gains an advantage from what happened.

If the perpetrators are found, the NHL should ban them from any league-related activities for say 10 years. This will effectively render those people unemployable..
