Desperate to get Johnny Gaudreau the Flyers offer the Flames Couturier, Sanheim and Hart for Gaudreau and Rittich.

History repeats itself in a goalie "swap". The Flames sign Elliot to backup Hart and the Flyers sign Talbot to steal the job from newly aquired Rittich.

The Flames hire Reggie Lemelin as the goalie coach.

Backlund and the Oilers 3rd round pick are traded to Buffalo for Dylan Cozens.

Brodie, Kylington, Gustafsson, Mangiapane, and Reider all re-sign.

Geoff Ward has the interim portion of his job title dropped. Also the head part is repleaced with associate. He gets to hire his own boss and he brings in Todd Reirden. CP erupts with displeasure.

There is a small chance that CP erupting the only thing I'll get right.

Ownership decides seeing as they will have limited capacity and incoming revenue in 2021, it will be a good year for a total rebuild. Trade away Gaudreau, Monahan, Giordano, Backlund, Lindholm, for picks/futures and finally rebuild properly.

Just kidding, they trade Jankowski for another AHL/4th liner and announce his replacement as the missing piece to get them over the hump,er mountain.
