I would have to think Anderson Cooper's announcement had something to do with Ocean coming out. Probably deflects some of the attention that he would get if here were to come out "alone"

An artist few have really heard of... releasing his debut album on July 17th.

Colour me jaded but this reeks of a publicity stunt. I'm not saying he is/isn't bisexual, but this seems like an attempt at drumming up attention for his new album by getting his name into the media.

It's one thing to openly talk about these things in an interview if you're lyrics/liner notes perk the reporters interest, but posting it on your own on a tumbler blog a week before your debut? Give me a break.
