Markstrom was good tonight. He was acquired to give them this kind of night in, night out, high level goaltending so that they win the games they outplay the other guys. Good to see.
Just a pretty solid game all around. The Flames have the better roster and while both teams had momentum at times, the good guys got the better of them.
Now they hit a really tough part of the schedule and it's good to be on a bit of a roll coming in.

I suspect he's already mentioned this to the team as they could have easily looked past Chicago tonight and ahead to the coming games against strong teams but clearly did not.

Well unless somebody wales up tgese "professionals " we are indeed doomed unless tgey at least make up offensively for defensive inability especially to suppress goals agaibst in tge 5x5.
Season plus/minus stats are horrid for tgese guys.Horrpd.
At least mitigate with offensive production in the 5x5 to reduce tge putrid negative plus/minus they are accumulating at record pace.
