Since the last update the Flames have gone 3-0-1. This moves the red snake to 4.756 points above the black line and 6 points above the purple snake. The red snake is currently on pace for 117 points. 69 (nice!) points are required in the remaining 63 games, which is 1.095 points per game, or a 90 point pace over a full 82 game season. The red snake has been above the black line for 16 straight games, and is guaranteed 4 more, regardless of the results in those 4 games.

The Flames are 13-4-5 after 22 games, putting the red snake 5.244 points above the black line and 4 points above the purple snake. The red snake has spent the last 19 games above the black line and is guaranteed to run the streak to at least 23 games. Although the purple snake gets dangerously close to going below the black line after game 23, it spends the res of the season above the black line, reaching it's all time greatest separation of 14.073 after game 64.
The red snake is on pace for 115.5 points on the season. A record of 32-27-1 (89 point season's pace) would have it finish at 96 points.

Was just thinking that they have to be getting close to only having to go .500 the rest of the season to satisfy the snek. Obviously you want to avoid the punch to the taint and not think about aiming higher than the 96 points.

The Flames are 18-11-6 after 35 games, putting the red snake 1.024 points above the black line, and 4 points belowh the purple snake. The red snake has spent the last 32 games above the black line. It needs at least one point in the next game to make it to 33 games. It had a brief scare after game 34, dropping to only 0.195 points above the black line, its lowest total since the first three games of the season.
The red snake is on pace for 98 points on the season. A record of 27-20-0 (94 point season's pace) in the remaining 47 games would have it finish at 96 points. The quickest the red snake could be above the purple snake is by going 6-0-1 or better in the next 7 games.
