Default Where to buy a chubb of lunch meat?

A deli-meat slicing machine made it's way into my house. Now all I need is a chubb of lunch meat to slice. Anyone know where I can buy these locally? Tips for bargoons/good pricing also appreciated.

Here's a tip: put the meat in the freezer for a bit so it firms up, making it easier to slice.

You don't freeze it it to the point ice crystals form. Just 20-30 minutes.

Okay, I have to circle back around to this...is a 'chubb' some sort of actual unit of measurement? What am I missing?

"Chub...!? I don't even know what that is"

Don't you dare replace your children's pork chops with chub!

That's what I do when I make beef and broccoli or teriyaki beef rolls to get the meat really thin.

Some Mortadella found its way into our fridge months back and it actually wasn't that bad.

Mortadella looks awful, is delicious.
For beef and ham, I buy the meat and roast it for slicing.
Turkey is my favorite, but doesn't work the same way.
