At least you guys weren't around for the In the Night Garden when my son was an infant. Iggle Wiggle or whatever it's name was and his cast of friends is the stuff of nightmares!

I agree that it's horrible. My daughter was into it for a hot second.
There is one episode where Upsy Daisy sings, and it is one of the worst episodes of kids TV of all time. my ears are still bleeding.
The only good thing about the show is that Derek Jacobi narrates it.
Circle Square had a catchy ending with the address jingle.
Went to a Circle Square Ranch camp when I was 11. It sucked, LOL. Marci, in the opening credits, is Marci Ien, now the Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth.
Watched the Mr Dressup documentary this afternoon - seemed like a good idea, with the miserable weather. Brought tears more than once. The saying "never meet your heroes" (a variation of a quote attributed to multiple people) typically applies, or so I've always heard, but I think that Mr Dressup/Ernie Coombs was the exception to that. Sure do miss the man and the show - both my children and I grew up with him, and I only wish my grandson could have as well.
Dang, I'll watch this. I continued watching Mr. Dressup a few years longer than the age it was probably geared toward. Was such a lovely show that made you feel nice and at peace.
