Man that Kubalik is a stud. I wish the Flames had him.

Yes, but St Louis also looks like they are asleep. Here's a big part of why the results in these tune-ups are completely meaningless: for the players and coaches, these games are about working on timing, pace, systems and special teams. Neither the Blues nor the Blackhawks care about the score, because it does not matter.

It looks like Subban is getting some time in goal.

Crawford leaves the game halfway through with a 2-0. Now Subban is in.

What Shaw channel is the Hawks game on?

Sn1 (205 I think) just in intermission. Not sure if they’re going back to it or keeping the NY game on.

They were showing the CHI-STL game to fill the time between CAR-WASH and NYI-NYR.

If it's still going when the first period of the Islanders/Rangers game ends, they'll probably cut back for the finale.

Doc Emrick is like three seconds behind his colour commentators in this Islanders broadcast. I think he's calling over Skype or something. Honestly impressive that he's managing to call it at all, he's doing great given the circumstances.

The teams that are going into the round robin as opposed to the best of 5 qualifiers generally look less interested and more exhibition-gamey to me compared to the ones who are about to play something resembling playoff hockey. That's even true of the Lightning this morning, even though they just scored at will without seeming to be trying particularly hard.

Is NHL network available in Canada?

I haven't watched all the games yet, but were the Flames and Oilers the only teams that didn't stand alongside each other on the blue lines for the anthem(s)?

4-0 Chicago.

Saad, Toews, DeBrincat, and Kubalik could do a lot of damage against Koskinen and/or Smith.

Whoops, and most of all Kane.

Hopefully Crawford is in playoff form too.

Kane, with a couple of points , and Dach were also very good.

Hawks win 4-0. Crawford and Subban combine for the shutout. Either Kane or Toews with an assist on each goal.

Haha forgot Kane somehow. He's first and foremost going to eat Edmonton alive.

That was an amazing pass by Andy Greene on that Beauvillier goal.
