It begins. A fantastic season for Gaudreau personally. That trio really dominated for long stretches of time. My favourite play of his was his breakaway pass to Ferland at 6:30, though his assist on Jagr's only goal is pretty special as well obviously.
Part 2 will be out really soon, it's 99% done just need to review and possibly re-render. Normally I do Monahan next, but to break it up I could dive into Tkachuk (another 2 parter for sure). Then bounce back and forth between their linemates (Monahan, Backlund, Ferland, Frolik).
It just means a longer break between Gaudreau Part 2 and Tkachuk Part 1, but will be followed by several videos quickly (hopefully).

I love how the 84 point season came after playing with a secretly hobbled Monahan for the last couple months, the unfortunate family issue late in the season, and the team largely deflated after missing the playoffs.
If those things hadn't happened in 2018, I think he would have legitimately challenged for the scoring title.
No disrespect to Monny, but if the Flames can somehow find another top line forward and or bolster their top six, Johnny is going to win an Art Ross.
He's the straw that stirs the drink, one of the best wingers in the NHL, and one of the top few exciting players to watch. We're so lucky to have him. He's a rare and immense talent.

It seemed like every ES goal/assist was off the rush. It is definitely when he does his most damage with his speed and vision, but is it really neutralized that much during zone possession? I know it has been discussed before, but it this video sure illustrated that theme.
Thanks so much AC. After this disappointing season, it is nice to be reminded how lucky we are to have him. Will watch it completely when I get to my big computer.
I’m not sure if I missed it before or if it’s new.
But nice touch on the scoreclocks.
Haha thanks. I started it last summer.
It's so much extra work for basically no real gain, but I enjoy it. It also makes it super easy to spot when my videos are used in other people's work. I see my subtle watermarks all the time now on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram videos.

Yeah I’m going to have to disagree with you on that one.

I hope there’s a counter for “time spent with the puck on his stick before scoring” for Monahan. Probably 10 seconds total. Quiet but super super deadly.
Great video as always AC
