Same, we're an office of about 70 and I'd say most of us are wearing a sports jersey of some kind. Hockey, football, soccer, rugby. It's so great to see.

The reason why so many Canadians donated is because their own kids, Christ themselves has done those trips on the bus before and will continue to do so. It's not because of skin color, gender its because we've done it before and it hits so close to home for a ton of families across the world.

Oilers organization just mass emailed the following:

CELEBRATING THE LIVES OF LOCAL HUMBOLDT BRONCOS PLAYERS

TUESDAY, APRIL 17 AT 1:00 PM
ROGERS PLACE

The families of four Edmonton-area Humboldt Broncos players will host a public Celebration of the lives of Jaxon Joseph, Logan Hunter, Parker Tobin and Stephen Wack at 1:00 PM MT on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Rogers Place. Family and friends of the four young men who tragically lost their lives in a bus crash last Friday will take the opportunity to share memories and celebrate the lives of these beloved sons, grandsons, brothers, friends and teammates.

The public is invited to attend the celebration of life. Public seating in Rogers Place will be general admission, but will be ticketed. Floor seating will be reserved for family and invited guests. Tickets are available now free-of-charge via TICKETMASTER.CA. There is a limit of four seats per transaction. The public is asked to only secure the number of seats they are sure to use. Doors will be open at 12:00 PM and guests are encouraged to come early. There will be no food or beverage service available and photography will not be permitted.

The families have asked that in lieu of flowers and sticks, that your donations be directed to Stars Air Ambulance, www.stars.ca.

The families wish to thank everyone for their outpouring of support.

Well done Edmonton Oilers.

Jersey day should become an annual event in memory.

OK I understand why now. It confused me to see so many Flames Jersey's around downtown. Thought GG got fired or something...

Great idea, but I feel dumb for not catching on. Thought Calgary suddenly got playoff fever.

Just got back from vacation. Jersey is on and sticks out front. I got major chills just driving around seeing how many sticks are out. Goosebumps

In London Ontario right now-

lots of folks wearing jerseys. just realized that in about an hour right across from where I am sitting (near the rink) the London Knights are hosting a mass photo shoot for everyone in the city wearing jerseys whilst collecting donations for Humboldt. ...people are already gathering

(the Leafs game likely adding to the energy) .although from here I'm seeing Leafs, Habs, Knights, Caps, Team Canada etc etc jerseys

hmm. including Dale hunter now sitting at the table next to me (Knights jersey )

The Nipawin Hawks have asked Chris Beaudry (Broncos Assistant Coach) to come out and help coach for their upcoming playoff series. Beaudry has accepted and hopes to be there for games 1 and 5.

Exactly don't know why "Desi boy" is spewing his ugliness

Ok, well I wasn't trying to spew "ugliness". A statement had been made and I disagreed with part of it. Mods felt it was inappropriate and took it down. End of story as far as I am concerned.
