Yesterday was lose one, which makes today win one.

Treliving referred to him as Stan. He caught himself doing it.

It’s not that clever but I kind of like it. Makes me think of the Eminem song. It was in the context that Sutter had spoken with him and made me wonder if Sutter has had one on ones with all of them.

Interesting to see what Sutter can do with Sam. .

During an interview, Tre slipped and called Sam Stan. He immediately corrected himself.

I feel they go with Markstrom again. They have 3 days off and markstrom wasn’t over worked in my opinion last night. They are in a position where every last point matters, especially against a supposed bottom feeder. They need this, sure it’s b2b for Marky, but there’s 3 days off next up. If he wasn’t healed, he wouldn’t have been back in last night. He was on the bench for 1, maybe 2? So he’s good, Sutter rides his horse. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Marky in. IMO, we need him in there. No sense chancing losing these points. Plus, they are being evasive about who’s starting. Both were told to be ready. That to me says it’ll be marky on the b2b. Otherwise they’d have let us know if it’s Rittich.

You count OT wins, do OT loses not count.
.500 points percentage and .500 win percentage are two different things.

A win tonight gets the Flames back to a .500 points % but not a .500 win %.

Ultimately neither of these are relevant in the 3-point era. The only thing relevant is how many wins you have vs regulation losses, compared to the other teams in the standings.

Right now the Oilers are +4 and the Habs are +5, so the Flames at -1 have their work cut out for them.

Lets hope so, the irony is that they need each other!! If Sutter can bring out the beast and get him some confidence! He might be the type of player Sutter covets. Sutter won't be worried about him being an offence guy, maybe a guy who does the heavy lifting for those on his line.

If Darryl can help Bennett realize his potential, we should call him Stan Bennett from now on. Darryl should also make Bennett change his to number 39; 93 is the Leaf's Gilmour, not the Flames.

Flames will win 7-3, or lose 7-3. Who could possibly say which.

Weird. I would have liked to see Kylington play, especially on the 2nd night of a back to back.

Nordstrom must be hurt from blocking that shot still. Rinaldo - Ryan - Ritchie 4th line I guess.

They don't need to be anywhere near .700 for the rest of the season. In a normal season that may be true but when they are playing all the games against division rivals it changes the margins quite a bit. If they can win the remaining "series" against each of their opponents by even a single game that should be more than enough to sneak into the playoffs.

Too bad about Nordstrom, that 4th line looked better than it has all year.

Rinaldo should be hungry for some hits.

I don’t get what this team doesn’t see in Kylington. I really don’t.

With all of the different coaches it has to be something behind the scenes.
