Sooner or later a thread was going to happen so now's a good a time as any. Quibi appears to be an app dedicated to mobile devices (and tablets?) that seems to want to marry netflix and tiktok (thats a super bad analogy). I watched a few episodes of "Most dangerous game" because I love Christoph Waltz and it seems decent.

I guess the premise here is snack sized tv and movies. 6.99 a month with ads, or 9.99 without ads, with a 14 day trial.

I don't need another streaming service, never mind one just for phones. I'm glad Reno 911 is getting new episodes but I'll find another way to watch them.

I'm guessing I'm not their target demo anyway.

On the surface it's sounds like a really second rate, sh**ty streaming service that wants to capitalize on people who don't own TV's and stare at their little phone screens all day.

I mean you can cast to TV for sure, but if you're doing that then this just becomes a way crappier Netflix/amazon/Disney and at a higher cost than Disney and amazon.

Highly recommend "Most dangerous game"

The writing was shakey at times, but unlike most series as the episodes went on the shows writing improved dramatically and the acting by Waltz and Hemsworth really did a lot of heavy lifting
