Raiders should be lickin their chops right now.
What a great opportunity to take that division now.
Tough game this weekend but after that, they really kind of hold their own destiny in their hands with a cupcake schedule the rest of the way.

Problem is they have no WR's. The entire offense was centered around AB and Williams being the starting WR's and AB is gone and Williams has plantar fasciitis which isn't getting better. They just traded for the Bills 3rd WR and he will probably start on Sunday opposite Trevor Davis who's a kick returner they got from the Packers last month.

Well hopefully Mahomes only misses 4 games. The defence played better but that might have been the worst offensive game plan I have ever seen by Denver. Drop back and tell the QB to hold the ball.

Yeah the Pack are looking at playing 2 guys that were on the practice roster and a guy they signed on Wednesday this weekend as well.
Adams, Valdes-Scantling and Allison are likely out.
Jimmy Graham may miss as well, though he has been terrible anyhow.
12 starters on this list.

Should have held onto Davis ha ha ha. I'm just kidding but he did have 42 yards receiving against the Bears and had the 60 yard TD run against the Colts. The worst part of being a football fan is never seeing your team play to their full potential due to the revolving door of injuries.

Boo hoo you lost your starting QB. I'm not feeling sorry for the Raiders injuries and simply acknowledging that all fans of the game have to put up with never seeing a healthy team. It's like some of you have reading comprehension issues. Sheesh!

^ I'm pretty sure Sylvanfans post was in response to transplants post about the Packers injuries, not yours.

Yeah, I see your post snuck in ahead of mine in response to the Packers injury list.
I had a Charger fan try to use injuries as an excuse for them being lousy, when I said they were handed a significant advantage in playing the Dolphins instead of the Patriots as a AFC East opponent this year.

You are actually probably right, the trade made little sense to me. Davis had become one of their better special teams guy and had flashed potential on offence. I know they like Lazard (for good reason) and Shepherd a lot but I didn't get it then and really don't get it now.

Sounds like Mahomes will be back after the bye. Chiefs have the Packers and Vikings at home and Titans and Chargers away. If they can navigate that at 2-2 they should be just fine. Even 0-4 and they might be alright. Of course they're talking about him maybe being ready before the bye, but that would monumental idiocy.

Until Denver replaces Elway they’re doomed. Almost zero talent on this roster except for Barry Sanders Jr (he says sarcastically). If the fire sale doesn’t start then they’ve failed. Hopefully horse teeth is gone before the draft so he can’t screw up yet another class.

Has Elway been that bad?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Elway
Quote:
Under Elway's management, the team signed free agent quarterback Peyton Manning who had just been released by the Indianapolis Colts. In four seasons from 2012 to 2015, the Broncos won four division titles, two AFC Championships, and reached Super Bowl XLVIII where they were soundly defeated 43-8 by the Seattle Seahawks despite holding the regular season's top offense.
Elway responded to the Super Bowl loss by signing defensive end DeMarcus Ware, cornerback Aqib Talib, and safety T. J. Ward for the 2014 season. After losing in the divisional playoffs to the Indianapolis Colts, Elway dismissed John Fox, who had won four divisional championships in his four years as Broncos head coach.
Elway hired Gary Kubiak, his former backup quarterback and former Broncos offensive coordinator, as the new head coach for the 2015 season. Elway and Kubiak also brought back Wade Phillips, a former Broncos head coach, for his second stint as the team's defensive coordinator.[56][57] Elway won a third Super Bowl as part of the Broncos franchise, when on February 7, 2016 Denver defeated the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in Super Bowl 50. This gave him his first Super Bowl win as Executive VP/GM, to go along with the two he won as the team's quarterback.

Alvin Kamara officially ruled out for the Bears game this weekend, due to a knee injury he's been struggling with. Was clearly hobbled last weekend by it and was not the same player.

Correct. Things Elway has done well: have Von Miller fall in his lap, convince Manning to come to Denver, sign Ware/Talib/Ward all around once. Maybe hiring Kubiak.
Things Elway has done poorly: literally every FA contract. Depressingly bad drafting that decimated any depth the team might have. Every coaching hire not named Kubiak. Ran Wade off to protect his ego. A comical inability to evaluate QB talent. A refusal to accept a rebuild and trying to win now with a 4 win roster.
The Browns would kill for the kind of terrible Elway has had? Sure of course but they’re a joke organization. This is the worst stretch in Broncos history and Elway is the architect. Until he’s gone they’ll be bad.
